Just a recorder...
So... without trying to open up any paragraphs... I've decided to leave this game for variety of reasons. To be very clear - and you can gaslight me about that if you wish -, I used to keep up with reasonable players in the game and good modders. But they all left this game, maybe because of the same reason I'm quitting too.

Back in 2010 when I started to know about this game (I found it from some flash games website version 2.0.4 :X), I was curious on how to make level designs with it alot but eventually left it and focused on SMBX instead. I wanted to touch the game again in 2014 and downloaded it from the official website, it was version 2.1.14. I only knew that there was the forums website, and downloaded the hyper form lua thingy and tested it, then after a year I figured that this game kinda have multiplayer mode (because I suck at english Xd) and joined servers. I remember there were good people like Chicmunk, !Super Tails, Kitoko, and much more... There was another gem player called ~Yuki Shyroshi~ who kinda made me enjoy being in discord and playing. There was also good players too, those who don't spam, protest, discourage, envy, and all of the bad sorts that are about cyberbullying, it's evil that you can't regonize.

I expected that in the start of v2.2, it would get more cool players. But literally, insult me if you wish, many of them made the game nothing but some paint.exe challenges, "what's the best addon in the world" thing, "this guy is stealing my pk3 work" things, this shows that this game is no longer SRB2 and like I do want to simile.

I decided to quit this game because the quality of SRB2 is dead weight, and my youtube channel that focuses about SRB2 recordings will be very very slow. And as a good ending for my message, I'm going to do something interesting that encourages me and my fellows to be in a lighter place than SRB2. So... Goodbye.

I wonder if this is (maybe unfortunately) a common thing to happen on online gaming communities, as people come and go, as i've felt pretty similar with other communities too where "it just doesn't feel the same" after some time, or their ambience starts to feel less 'peaceful' as time goes on

I think that the most important part to understand here is that it's absolutely normal for people to change their "topics of interest" over time. For example, i absolutely love Sonic Robo Blast 2 (both old & new versions) and i can even put it as my all-time favorite videogame as i have loved it since i was 3 or 4 years old (2007 or 2008), but that doesn't mean i'm interested on playing it all the time… There's so much videogames available, and also there's so much stuff we can do on life, so i think it's 100% normal that even our favorite hobby doesn't interests us for quite some time while we're interested at something else lol, but that doesn't mean we stopped loving it--- we just can't pay attention to it absolutely all the time, you know

After all, gaming is just a hobby like how sports are too (unless you play them professionally). Clearly they're made to bring fun and shouldn't be a source of potential burnout--- we can't really force ourselves to play a certain game or keep contact with the same friends if we don't really share those 'topics of interest' anymore. Those interactions are better when they happen spontaneously (like right now with this post i'm randomly writing lol) rather than when they're forced to some extent

Btw i think i remember seeing you on online netgames around 2017-2018 (which is when i actively played SRB2), i might even have a screenshot haha but i'm not sure where could have i saved it. But yeah, i'm 90% sure i saw your username sometime during netgames

And to finish i'll say this infamous quote as a joke lol:

That make no sense. I asked where did the drama exist in my thread, whereas I acted so honest and sincerely without reminding any bulls. You only directed the game's topic

Whatever you are supposed to mean, as you and other users would show "povs" in whatever ways suits you. I don't want to be back in this game. End of my words.

If I will be back, it's only because of good users play this game, and this including the old ones
