P_InitPicAnims: bad cycle from TEXTUREX to TEXTUREY (Fixed)

So I tried to make animated textures using the ones in srb2.pk3 as an example. having the textures I want to animate labelled in order, with names no longer than 8 characters long, and inputting the textures into a file named ANIMDEFS like this: Flat TEXTUREX Range TEXTUREY Tics 4
But when I try to launch the map, I get the error in the title.
(just note, texturex and texturey are not the actual names of the textures)
