Hey all! I apologize for the 17 months(!!) of no updates.
To be transparent, a few months after releasing OrangePack V2, I started college, which took a lot of my time and energy away from doing stuff for this pack. This, combined with increased ambitions for V3, means it's been taking a hot minute for this stuff to come out, so I ask for just a bit more patience on that front.
When I left the tease for what V3 would entail, I envisioned it being pretty standard: some new characters, including The King from Pop'n Music, who I teased in the last update post, and maybe some new followers. In the time since, I had a bold idea for the pack, the "increased ambitions" alluded to earlier: most of the characters from the previous 2 versions are getting resprited. Here's a sneak peek of that (+ The King's A2)!
The reasons I wanted to do these resprites varied from character to character, but by and large, the goal was for the pack to meet my current standards of quality and have better stylistic parity with itself and stuff from other artists. Most of the changes involve minor things like reshading and reshaping, with maybe an outfit change or two. The most significant change, as I'm sure you can probably notice, is Athena, whose bobble-headed look from the previous two versions I abandoned in favor of something more humanoid, and in turn, more representative of the character.
I can't really discuss any other future plans since those can change at any moment, but I'm really proud of how these resprites are coming along, and I hope to get them out to you all in the near future!
