Won't Fix OpenGL Waterfall Fail

WishI had a better internet
I was trying out some character WADs I downloaded & noticed what happens if you enter a waterfall in OpenGL mode.

The Texture vanishes.

Doing the same thing in Software however, well. See for yourself.

The Texture stays.

I'm guessing this won't be fixed though.

What part of the bug are you pointing at.
Is it the texture goes away when you go in the water in openGL mode
and the texture stays on Software mode?
 
The point of view in the two comparison screenshots isn't the same, so it doesn't make sense. In your OpenGL shot, you have the camera inside the waterfall, and in the software shot, you have it outside of the waterfall.
 
The only reason why its probably doesn't show because OpenGL can't see translucent walls. its also like in ERZ 2 where the bouncy walls are.
