help me, I said, HELP! I'm trying to make a mod, kinda like spmoves, and I have some ideas what to do, but the thing is, i don't know what to do. My project is to make specifically, 18-21 single player levels (not including the final), 4 race levels specifically for netgames,6 match maps, 5 ctf maps, 1 very special tag map, 2 secret levels, and 3 chaos maps. My first project is to make the characters, now i followed a441's guide, but its very hard to understand, yet I figured it out, I can only use XWE. Its for wintex and deepsea, i have deepsea but its not working, but i mostly need to know how to edit the sprite looks for the character.

*sigh* Leave it to the pros or learn quickly...
But for your question of how to edit the character, I'll just say this: Export everything into bmp form and edit it using your favorite editor. I use Paint, myself. Simplicity is good...

DeePSea works well at that, as does XWE. Lumpmod's pretty much your best bet for putting them back in, though.

Dangit that was fast Shaf.

If you want it to be a mod like SPMoves then you'll need to know some programming >.>

I'm afraid not. LumpMod basically allows you to do things with lumps in a wad file that you would do with files in a directory: copy, rename, delete. It does not convert (i.e. from bmps into SRB2's picture format).
