Well, this isn't really much of a shock to me, but I'm sure it'll probably be kind of a shock to a few of you.
Here are the contest results:

As you can tell, there is a good reason a few of you will be shocked. There are five match stages and a single one player stage.
There cannot be voting without more than one entry in the single player contest, and there really isn't much of a point to have voting in the multiplayer portion of the contest either.
Basically, this contest is going to be called off simply because of the lack of entries.
Now that that's said, I'd like to talk about this, because it shouldn't really shock anyone. The reason the contests were originally stopped in February 2004 was because of lack of entries. Now that we've hit this again, I'd like to plead for the people who actually enjoy these, and if the popularity of the netgames is something to judge by, it's almost all of you.
We cannot hold contests without submissions. Even those of you who can't do a very good job are MORE than welcome. The more people enter, the better. Those of you who have been at it for a while, you won't get to have more contests if you don't keep doing so. There will be a May/June contest. If that doesn't work, I'll have to stop them again for a year so people will be interested again.
The bimonthly contests are supposed to be a fun experience for everyone, but everyone has to contribute a little so they can all get a lot. If everyone who can WAD entered a single multiplayer map, these contests would be overflowing. We saw that last December very definitely. Hence, if you'd like this feature of the forums to continue, I hope everyone creates an entry for the next contest. We can't continue otherwise.
