Obtaining a wii

I can't speak for Wal-Mart or places like that, but Gamestop gets shipments on weekdays

But the problem is that my Dad goes to work and my Mom can't drive

Alright...soo..heres the news..I called Target but they sold out minutes ago :(, But there are some bestbuys that havn't even opened yet (Squee!)

Well...better get ready *Grabs a nerd hungery wookie crossbow* It's the best thing to take out nerds without killing the Wii's or the person running the store :D

EDIT: Bah...Target sold out in 2 hours (I'm getting up ealier next week)

But the bestbuys sold all the wii's in 17 MINUTES!!!

I know...I tried to order one from Bestbuy but it said "Sorry, due to the limited amout, we will not do orders during the intitial realese" IT'S BEEN OUT FOR A YEAR!

The reason that they'r so limited is that people are just selling them on Ebay

My uncle works with the Mariners Baseball Team, ( Which is owned by nintendo) So my dad called him up, so I got my Wii about 2 months after it came out.

Guys, I'm pretty sure it's not November. The Wii has only been out six months.

That being said, I camped out on launch day, got my Wii and haven't looked back since, so. I think Arrow's strategy is probably the best one listed here.

Yeah, it's pretty much either Arrow's strategy, or the way I got lucky and ended up with one: One of my friends found one and called me. Got in the car, drove down there, and purchased it.

My mom got the 24th/26 Wii's at Wal-Mart, some few days before Christmas. Ever since then I haven't seen a single one of them on shelves.

Yeah, my mom went to Circuit City in the morning around the system's launch, and was 49th in a line of 60. They even gave out free popcorn and drinks. Nice service, eh?

I honestly don't see what the big deal is now. They're still hard to find, but Nintendo's shipping out more and more. Used to be months between shipments to some places, and now it's every week or two weeks.

And school's ending soon anyway, so it's not like that's a barrier, unless you go to some demon school with a all-year round term or something.

It's still practically impossible. They still sell out so fast it's impossible to find them unless you're in the store when they arrive, pretty much.

I went to Taret at 7:30, waited about 10 minutes...then they let me in...and they didn't have it :|

It's Sunday morning damnit!

A few weeks ago on a wednesday I saw 12 Wiis in a Wal*Mart but didn't have enough Money at the time. Obviously, none where there that saturday.

I got mines on a Sunday also and I was lucky to get it cause it was the last one.
