not sure if its a linux issue but pressing "look for servers" crashes the game

first of all:
1. I GOT A HANDMEDOWN COMPUTER!!!1111!1 in less than a week i put ubuntu on it. then budgie, then mint, then ubuntu again, then mint, then kde neon, then the struggling quest of getting mint back on the machine because konqi tried to claim my hard drive.
2. Im using flatpak. Ill compile srb2 at some point, but chances are flatpak is the problem.
with that out of the way...

i was playing zyphyr's pizza time! server. in the chat, i said "ahh, internet in my room and an ethernet cable." "nothing can go wrong."
ironically, the game crashes. anytime i press "look for servers", the game would immediately crash. when i got forced out the 1st time, there was an error but i didnt pay attention for some reason. all other attempts were no error. just "fuck you for saying that im gonna ironize your statement lol"

this is a serious issue i have, maybe it could be looked into?

this is already fixed upstream but for 2.2.15 you can launch the game with -noipv6 to work around the problem

for flatpak this would be flatpak run org.srb2.SRB2 -noipv6 in terminal
