Not appearing on the Master Server

I've been trying to start a netgame for a while now, but always had trouble getting anyone to join. I've never had trouble connecting to anyone else's games, so I wasn't sure what the problem was.

So I loaded up the SRB2MSLauncher to see if there was a problem. To my surprise, my server isn't even appearing on the list. I've made sure to always set the game to be advertised on the Master Server, and the MS website even says I'm on there, but I never actually appear on the list.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, or am I just missing something?

I have the exact same problem. Do you have Port 5029 open? If not, open it. If yes, then I can't help you--I have Port 5029 open, and my server never appears on the MSLauncher either.

How do I know if I have port 5029 open?

www.portforward.com should be able to help you out with this. Find out which router you have and follow the instructions, then it should be able to work.

I gave up trying to do this. I've done it with my DSL box and my network HUB. The HUB even had an Applications and Gaming page, in which you simply typed in the port number. After it saved, I advertised my game, and none of my friends were able to join.

I'll just stick with Hamachi, thank you very much.
