No Sound in 2.1.11

Volume is Maxed.
Sound is Maxed.
Nothing wrong in Playback Devices.
My friend who plays SRB2 has perfect sound. I've tried redownloading the music.dta. Nothing works.

Help?

You can try administrator and/or compatibility mode on Windows. Maybe that fixes the problem.

What if you reinstall the game, and try it again?
Be sure of use Win XP compatibility.

I've done that 3 times. And I used all of the compatibilities.

I would extract SRB2's files again just to make sure you aren't missing any files. If not, check your volume mixer on the Taskbar.
