No RPing on the server, but can you with just using IP?

So, I have some friends who like to RP, we usually just do so using a chat site. But I was wondering, if one of us hosts a game, but doesn't put it as a server, so the only way is with IP search, can we RP?

If it's not hosted on the Master Server, then I'm pretty sure that you can.

Yes. As long as we don't see the server advertised on the MS when you do, it is acceptable.
