Why did they remove Grey

Play this in single player....be sure to play as Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. Notice a difference between the three when you push the button?

This is a test wad for the No Sonic, No Tails and No Knuckles linedef flags and they seem to work very well. This test is using a linedef executor button to open one of three doors depending on what character you are. This is to show wadders out there what can be done with one of SRB2's new (I think) features. It's very simple really. Enjoy.

I was thinking about using this for a coop wad, but somone said it doesn't work in multiplayer. :/

That's true really, because in multiplayer, people could be playing as different characters and since this changes things for different characters, people would consis fail constantly. The only option would be to use the forcecharacter Map Header option.

If only it checked for the character's ability.. then if you thokked/flew/glided, the sonic/tails/knuckles door would open.

Actually, they do indeed "work" in multiplayer, and by that I mean they just enable no matter what. So if you run that in multiplayer, all the doors should be closed.

Mystic Realm uses those flags to make Prismatic Angel Sonic-only. In multiplayer, anyone can go to Prismatic Angel, because it just ignores the "disable unless character X" in multiplayer.

I was there the day the flags were made, of course...
By the way, it does check by ability rather then character.
And wouldn't all three doors open in multiplayer, since they aren't disabled?

That would mean it supports custom skins, rights? Like if a custom skin with Sonic's ability were to play a level in multiplayer, it would activate the "No Sonic" flag?

Maybe Sigseg, but he has Knuckles' abilities so it would open the Knuckles door.

Presumably, it would open Knux's door as fury said. Amy, Shadow and Schoolhouse would probably open the Sonic door.
