Nickelodeon Kart Racers Thread

I've played all 3 of the Nickelodeon Kart Racers games, and I can see improvement throughout those games. The first one was horrid, and the sequel was a major improvement here. The 3rd one was supposed to be better than 1 and 2, but I played it on the Switch, and it ran like crap, so I didn't enjoyed it as much. For a while there, I could see some pattern. All 3 of these games released on the same month biannually starting from 2018. (I think that pattern stopped because there's no Nickelodeon Kart Racers 4 coming soon.) So what do you think about those games? Did you played it, or you never heard about it and never played it? If you played them, what do you think?

Not expecting this, but... Garfield is owned by Nickelodeon now, and the Ninja Turtles went into multiple changes.

In the first two Nickelodeon Kart Racers games, they used the 2012 designs. But on the 3rd one, Slime Speedway, they use the Original designs.

By the way, you're right. Not all of these shows did make it into all 3 games. (Maybe because of voice acting or something) (Looking at you, Wild Thornberrys and Rocket Power) Although, it would be funny to see some Nick Jr shows in the Next one.

I would not mind racing as the mailbox from blue's clues I would always scream mail time every time I hit someone with an item if they had in-game voice chat

Not to mention the singing the mail song every time I want to race

It's a shame to not have wild thornberrys considering how Nigel thornberry is a meme

You could put the rocket power kids on a bicycle or skateboard

Garfield is not an original nicktoons show neither is the Ninja turtles that's why I mentioned them

I just found out today... That Slime Speedway just turned 2 years old! I just wished that I played it on the PC instead of the Switch... Apparently, that game has mixed reviews, like it's previous game.

I skipped that android device wannabe console for the reason that MOST modern Nintendo games used to run at 60 FPS. It seemed like everything was dumped on that console rather than being truly optimized. Unfortunately, the Nintendo switch (Q4 2017) killed gaming for this generation as it is easier to throw something away on the switch rather than work on new games. My phone an LG v60 (2020) is supposed to be able to emulate it anyway.

PC version probably can be cracked open to play mods anyway.

True. The pervious 2 Nickelodeon Kart Racers games on the Switch didn't have low FPS, so it may be just dumped on without any thought. *sigh* The 4th one better have better FPS than that.

Would be interesting to see Non-Nickelodeon Mods in a Nickelodeon game.

SOOO... After a good 6 full years of the Original Nickelodeon Kart Racers being out, and some pattern that follows, it seems that I think that there's no NKR4 coming out, and the pattern is broken. We've already gone over a half of October, and there's no news about the whole 6-Game-oligy. You've might be thinking, "Wait, there's more than 3 games?" Yes indeed, there's Nicktoons Racing, Nicktoons Winners Cup Racing, Nicktoons Nitro, and including the 3 Nickelodeon Kart Racers games (Original, Grand Prix, & Slime Speedway). So put basically: the first Nickelodeon Kart Racer is NOT the first time where the Nicktoons are doing Go-karting. Nicktoons Racing has been around for more than 23 years at this point!

If the inevitable Nickelodeon Kart Racer 4 got announced, I do have a complete list of characters that I want to see into the game. I've added all of the returning characters, a whole bunch of new characters, and some Nick Jr show characters because I think it's funny; Plus extra for DLC, like how Slime Speedway does it. (I've never brought the DLC to begin with...) I called it: Nickelodeon Kart Racers Ultimate!
