I mean, SEGA screwed up ever since Sonic Heroes. The only good thing has been the handhelds, and even then, we still got a terrible GBA port of the original Sonic. This decade was like living in the Twilight Zone. Especially since most of the Sonic community still loves the heck out of Unleashed. The Boost ability wasn't used that creatively people. In fact, I've got something that SEGA should probably watch.

I tell you... They're getting back at us for those major leaks of Sonic Unleashed screenshots and gameplay. I just know they are.

I'm gambling that they don't want to over-hype their product. That's essentially what killed Heroes, which I think is a perfectly fine game.

Heroes did pretty good actually. Sold so much, did well with the critics, it also did pretty well with the fans.

Though, several days...years later. Some fans started hating the game. Then more fans came along and hated it as well.

I don't see the problem with Heroes. I thought it was a pretty solid game.

Sonic Heroes hate is nothing new, Autosaver. From what I remember, some people called it the beginning of the end since the day it came out.

Sure, it's an okay game... compared to the Sonic games past it.

Did Heroes introduce any new characters? IIRC, it didn't, at least in terms of significant ones.

It milked the hell out of existing characters, that's for sure.

It would have been the introduction to Cream, had Sonic Advance 2 not beaten it to the punch.
