Need some help with SRB2 1.08

I recently downloaded the Mystic Realm mod. But when I select 'New game' and choose a character, the game returns to the desktop giving an error message.

Z_Malloc:failed on allocation of 93264 bytes
Try to increase heap size using -mb parameter(actual heap size:32 MB)

This is the error message I get.

I also downloaded 2 single player levels and some characters. When I try to run the levels in Multiplayer mode the same thing happens.

Also when I add characters using the Addfile command, the character names in the list are messed up.

Can somebody help me? I'd be grateful.

Almost all the maps on srb2.org are for 1.09-1.09.2, 1.08 is outdated.

I have every map posted in the addons section from 1.08. You can grab these files towards the bottom of the main addons section on SRB2.org.

I got a broadband connection. I'm downloading SRB2 1.09. Yay.
