By now you're probably aware of the Name Exploit Of The Month™ going around which makes the server host's name appear to be yours. I'm not sure how people are managing to do that to begin with, but I discovered that when this is done a certain way (or due to naturally occuring glitch, whatever), it can cause everybody else in the server to be unable to change names in any way until the exploit user undoes their handiwork.
