Mystic Realm Netplay trouble

Ok, so I've just tried to join an online game, and it said I needed the Mystic Realm WAD to play. So I went and downloaded the WAD. But now whenever I try to add it into the game -whether through "addfile" or the SRB2 launcher- and join an onliine game, it says I need to restart SRB2 because I just added new files.
How do I get around this?

Oh, no, no, no, no, no. You only need to add the file when your hosting. If you join a net game they should be loaded automatically.

You cant add files than join a netgame.
Just join a netgame and the WAD is in SRB2 already.
