Mystic Realm Boss Music: Inspired?

I just noticed a little while ago when I was stumbling through my music collection, a song that's bass-line is incredibly close to MR's boss music.

The song is Loud Force - Rock Beat, a song that featured in Dance Dance Revolution 3rd Mix. Here's a link to the part of the song in question, followed by part of the boss music:

The Mystic Realm music is a little choppy - I had to rip it myself in game and I had god knows how many programs out, sorry about that! My question is: is this really where the song came from, or is it just a coincidence? It seems too close for it to be shrugged off...

Mystic, please answer this or I'll lose sleep. XD

Similar, but a few differences in the actual notes themselves. Remixes generally change instruments, not the actual notes.

Yeah, I don't see it as a remix but rather a thought of taking that bassline and basing it off it.
