How does that look?
 
From the looks of the screenshots, the map really looks empty in my opinion.
The beginning looks like an empty Deep Sea Zone.

The beginning looks pretty much bland from here. I would advise putting some more scenic detail and texture variation here.

@2nd screenshot:
Now this is a step in the right direction. But it still lacks texture variation and obstacles.

Not sure what I'm looking at here. It looks fine so far.

Still kinda don't know what I'm looking at here...

Btw, you should really pick a better name for this level... -_-'
