My checkpoints are being retarded

The angle of the checkpoint determines which one it is.

The first checkpoint is angle 0, the second is 360, and so on, going in multiples of 360.
 
Also, you can add an actual angle to the 0, 360, 720, etc. to determine which direction the player is facing when they restart at the starpost.

For example, if you want the player facing North (90) at the second starpost (360), just do 90+360=450.
