Does anyone know what program was used to make the music in SRB2? Those sure aren't midis, but they are high quality and sound like they were made on a computer.

Actually, they ARE MIDIs, but with fancy soundfonts and then converted into Ogg Vorbis format. Save the title screen, since that's an actual guitar, not a fancy soundfont.

So uhm......how do I made music like that?
It sound REALLY good, and I want to make some of my own to put in my own games. Do I just make a midi and convert it to ogg?

I don't know how convert MIDI directly to OGG, but I have OggDropXP and I can convert WAV/MP3 to OGG and OGG to WAV. If you can convert MIDI to WAV/MP3...

I don't think you can convert MIDI to OGG, I think you need to get a program that records any sound as a WAV or MP3.

Professional synthesizer equipment was used, much like what many of the games from the PSX/Saturn era did. Read up on some and go on eBay.

Korg X5DR
Yamaha SW60XG
Mackie 1202VLZ

Convert MIDI to WAV.
Convert WAV to OGG. That's how I'd do it.

Or convert Midi to high quality MP3 or OGG by using a music editor and replacing the instruments with higher quality ones. and yes, it can be done. I have a midi and MP3 as proof. (but no hosting that will allow the MP3 unfortunately.

Uh, Sound Recorder and Recording Volume turned on to "What U Hear" or "Line-In" or something along those lines?

Trackers. Trackers allow you to replace everything with any samples you wish. That's why I want MOD/IT/XM/MO3 to be in SRB2 so badly.

MOD/IT/XM/MO3

MOD/IT/XM will be support in SRB2 1.09, but not MO3....
I Would Compile a version of SRB2 1.08 with MOD/IT/XM support but my laptop was put away by my mother, poo...

i need a hug......

Last time I tried to hug you, you wouldn't stop screaming. My fingers are still pruny, too.
