Music stutters every few seconds

Just what the title says. It has always done this on my end since 2.1.0. It doesn't seem to happen in menus, but it does ingame.

OS is Windows 7 and my sound card is, apparently, "IDT High Definition Audio CODEC" (this is a laptop so i'm guessing the actual hardware some Intel piece of shit).

For me it doesn't happen to the extent that he's suggesting, but it's still an issue. OS is Windows 7 64-bit, sound card is Realtek.

I don't have this issue happening at all.

I have Windows 7 64-bit, and my sound card is Realtek. I highly doubt that this is a OS flaw; my SRB2 runs perfectly under Windows 7 64-bit. SRB2 has no incompatibilities with Windows 7, other than Software mode being suckish. Just putting that out there.

If you have a cpu with more then one core, try messing with cpuaffinity.

Done. I use a quadcore, and originally my srb2win was set to run on only one cpu; setting it to all four fixed it. Only problem is that my framerate dipped as a result. Setting cpu affinity to two cores seems to resolve the issue while still preserving framerate.

Does this issue still occur now that we use SDL2 for srb2win.exe?
