Music Changing Question

I need an answer to this question... Lets say someone jump/touched a sector that will change the music, will that affect that person only or everyone. Thanks you to whoever answers this.

Only that person. A good example of this is ERZ2 in which when you get into the "secret room" the music changes only for the player in the room, not for everyone else.
