multiplayer hud freeze

when joining netgames, ANY netgame, upon getting in my screen freezes on the level start hud (so all i see is greenflower act 1 neo palmtree panic etc). from here, making any type of hud show up, chat, menu, console, will cause it to stick on my screen. i got a access violation error, and im pretty sure it said sigsev? ill put the entire log in replies HOW TO REPLICATE: join a netgame. idk if im supposed to send my entire damn srb2 folder so the devs can use it and find the issue. by the way, this didnt happen when hosting (and my hosting is fine i already port forwarded) [ also i dont have the menu open in the image ]

more to add to this. joined a netgame with NO ADDONS. told me to wait for the level to end. cool. i waited TEN MINUTES and i was still on that screen. no srb2 level is that hard
