Ok, I wanted to see if I could host by I.p. on vers 1094.
Is it theoretically possible? Or am I gonna have to deal with the fact that A LOT of great wads haven't been ported, and I cant have fun with them with my friends?

Hosting by IP works just fine.

You might also be able to contact some of the original creators and politely ask them to port them to 2.0.6. Don't be surprised if they say they don't want to though.
