Modern Sonic Won't Work For Me

So something strange happens when I play as Modern sonic. When I play as him His Hud won't show up, He can't do the homing attack, And when Custom 1 is pressed, He won't boost. Is this a Bug?

Please report issues with mods on the Discussion thread for that mod. You can find it by going to the mod's Addons & More page and clicking the Discussion tab near the top of the page.
Make sure you have the latest version of SRB2 as well -- lots of mods break in outdated versions of the game. The current official release is v2.2.9.
