Models invisible to camera

So, I've changed the Renderer to OpenGL, and have enabled the models included by the game by default. The characters are invisible to me, though, and only pop into existence from specific angles. The game runs and plays perfectly okay so far, and, I've never modded the game at all. I'm not honestly sure what's going on, nor how I could fix it.

Maybe it's something with the camera's distance? I haven't altered those settings either, though.
I recorded a video, showing the situation.

What do you have Interpolation set to in your OpenGL settings?

"Sometimes".

Just now, I tried setting it to "Off", and then "Always". Then issue remained the same, unfortunately.

Oh my god, what is your draw distance??
I think that is the exact issue. The flower sprites are a good clue.
Though...I'm not aware if the player sprites can actually be affected by this.
Keep interpolation at Sometimes, by the way.

Also, in case you're confused,  draw distance is how close you have to be to a sprite to see it.

It says "256", currently.

Update: yeah

It was draw distance. Thank you for helping me out, I appreciate the responses! I can't believe I didn't consider draw distance before hand.
