Is it possible to crossplay from mobile and computer because I started a server and it did not show up on my brother's computer/mac. if there is a way could you tell me I have 2.2.9 for android that's the only version I have had

Wait you hosted on your phone?

Crossplay is possible between mobile and computer but you can't host publicly on mobile connection(that how it work).
Put both on the same connection(it will not show up in the server list and may not work depending of the firewall), switch to wifi(firewall again plus usual hosting stuff) or host on the computer(same as previous but easier).
