You need to upload your gifs directly as attachments. Look for the "attach files" option under the advanced post editor.

You should be using the url of the video itself (right-click the video, select the option that says something like "View video").

...Also no these are not GIF images, these are videos (MP4s), treating them as images wasn't going to work. For videos, you have to switch the mode of the post form (there's a button for it in the top-right, looks like an A and an A) and then surround the link with the tags

That is strange- I uploaded the gifs directly to imgur I'm not sure why they would convert it to mp4 format.

For me, this bug is another one of those that is limited to the OpenGL renderer.

Switch back to software and the midtextures should work properly again (at the cost of those nice 3D models).
