master server

im having trouble, my friend can get online, but I cant?

ive been trying all day, I cant connect to the master server
my internet is enabled, and I even turned my firewall off

why cant I find a server?

Because no servers are up when you come on. Look, don't post for stuff like this. And don't turn off your firewall, either; that only helps with hosting(assuming it's causing problems). If you want to talk about or ask for a netgame, do what sonic tells you to at the end of the game and go to the IRC chatroom.

There should be some servers up right now on the list. Make sure it is correctly pointed to the masterserver by looking under Server Options. The Master Server's address should be: srb2.servegame.org:28900

You should also make sure you have the most recent version of SRB2, which is 1.09.2.

Go into config.cfg and find the master server thing in there, then you can put a : instead of a ;.

im gettin the same problem here.. and ive got my firewall allowing it to access the net, receive connections, act as a server, etc.

theres the contents of my config file. the masterserver is already the same as what is specified, and im using the latest version as i only downloaded it today lol.

Honestly. Image macros aren't going to make you popular, especially when you're abusing them like this. Seriously- 3 in one day? That's overkill.

Also, make sure that the image you're posting is, y'know, funny. You're just wasting bandwidth otherwise.

I redownloaded SRB2, and it started working, I had to turn off my anti virus, though...
