Making a charector punch and/or kick?

Is a Cyan Sonic in SRB2
A friend of mine told me that a certain someone knew how to make a charector in a wad punch or kick.
Is this true? If yes, please tell me how.
If not, well tough luck for me.

Hmmm...that might have been in the original JTE.
If so, then it won't work anymore.
 
Actually, it's entirely possible if you organize your S_Skin properly to use NOJUMPSPIN and write a SOC that replaces the spin with a short, low bunnyhop, then use the spinning frames as the punch or kick, and tweak the animation with the SOC.
 
I was thinking of using a custom thing that acts kinda like a red ring, damages baddies and lasts about 2-5 tics for the slingitem.
 
Ah, but that method won't destroy monitors or have proper animation most of the time.
 
If jump is replaced with bunnyhop how will you jump? ;P

Unless you make a spinitem that acts as a moderatly weak spring.
