Patience is your friend. Just do like I did and leave for weeks on end and when you come back, you'll find a bunch of new stuff to play with...or something.
In any case, this is still looking good, Blade. Your spriting skills are top notch and your custom textures look really clean.
Well, I've been slacking off lately. Been working on some multiplayer maps. I do have a bit of progress, though.
Seeing as Spring-Shell's sprites were the oldest, I felt that they needed an upgrade. I think they are much better, and fit SRB2 slightly better.
I've also got some ideas for changing around some of the Zones. Namely, City Rampage Zone may become Ring Park Zone (Name not final). And instead of being on of the later levels, it will be the 2nd-3rd level. I have other ideas, but I wouldn't want to spoil all of them, now would I? :P
Well, if anyone has name ideas, then tell me. It would be alot like Casino Park from Sonic 2, Carnival Night from Sonic 3, and Spring Stadium from Sonic 3D Blast.
There are these enemies in TLoZ:LA that always come in trios. As you hit them with Link's weapons, the card suite on their belly changes (it's either a heart, diamond, club or spade). When the suites on all three enemies match, they're defeated. Perhaps you could have a similar concept for enemies in Ring Park, maybe blocking alternative paths?
Also, the concept for Ring Park seems to be awesome so far. We don't get nearly enough casino/carnival zones in SRB2.
When I was trying a similar (Scrapped) zone idea, I had an idea for an enemy that was a deck of cards that shot cards as projectiles. It would chase you with the cards facing forward and when it shoots it tilts 90 degrees and the cards shoot out.
Another idea I just thought of is a stationary enemy that has a large cannon on top. The base of the enemy is a slot machine that has different pictures of things it can shoot at you and the weapon is chosen randomly. (ERZ3 cannonballs, GFZ3 lazers, Flamethrower, THZ3 goop, etc.)
Or an area where you fall of a cliff and have to land on a giant bingo board and you need to hit the only square that makes bingo to open a door with goodies, or if you miss, enemies come out!
