Okey. I have some niftifying music, but there's a problem: It loops back to the start. Is there an OGG switch in there to make it loop back to the middle somewhere? (Ex. It goes to the end, then starts playing at the beginning)

I'm sure you mean like in Sonic Adventure 2, "Escape From The City. The only proper way to loop music is just like back in FireKid's contest pack, the lava level.

You mean, that contest _actually_ ended? link to the wad, kthnxbie

You mean my subterranean sickness level?
Yeah, I could use scripting to loop it back, but I'm just a bit too lazy and it only works on fast machines. And, it isn't the 'proper' way.
All I'm asking is if there's a specified address in the file that specifies what page to loop it back to.

Here are the results of that contest, and Here is where the contest ended.

I think there's some sort of thing you can put in the OGG to make it loop, I know a441 did it in Wintery Lake Zone, an old Cirucuit Racing map he made.

A lot of the official songs in the game loop to a certain point in the file. It's used for only playing intros once, etc.. Check the tag on the OGG file.

In the comments field, you should have ONLY the following:

LOOPPOINT=424242

Where 424242 is the position in the song you want it to loop back to, measured in samples (44100 samples per second). Use the calculator.

So, I can't have in the comments field

Code:
Song by Hotdog003, Blahdeblahdeblah, etc.
Oh, and by the way
LOOPPOINT=x
, I just have to have
Code:
LOOPPOINT=x
?
Oh, and what if it's not just 44100 samples for seccond? What if I have 48 khz or 96 khz or 22100 samples/sec?

Isn't there, like, a LOOPOUT or something so that you can work around fade-outs, too?

I'm just guessing, mind.
