Lightdash problem

For some reason, I can never lightdash. Ever. Well, the only time I can is in the Adventure Example.

Can someone help?

You need to use a character with lightdash turned on then.....

How do you turn on the lightdash? I know Sonic can use it.

Sonic can't use lightdash. Only with console commands after you've gotten all 7 emeralds twice.

How do you turn on the lightdash? I know Sonic can use it.

Sonic can't use it normally. To use lightdash with Sonic, you either have to activate SA-Mode through map headers (Modifies the game), or type LIGHTDASH ON in the console in netgames. Turn on DEVMODE (Modifies game again) and you can type LIGHTDASH ON in single-player.

However, it's much easier to just add a character with Lightdash and use it.
