Lightdash help

How do you make a character use lightdash but only in the level, like in the Adventure Example stage?

Put in the skin lightdash = 1

I mean in a level I am not making a character.
You no how in the Adventure Example, Sonic can use lightdash but in any other level he can't that is what I am tring to do.

Turn on adventure mode in the header?

When I type in LIGHTDASH ON nothing happens.
