Level Issues in Hardware

I'm currently working on a level and I am having problems when I run it in Hardware.

The entire level looks great in OpenGL Mode, but this problem like the screenshot above, appears in several places throughout the level in hardware mode. How do I go about fixing this problem?

Wait, that's in OpenGL? O.o

I'll give you the usual answer. Re-arrange your sectors and check your map for errors.

Hardware mode, and OpenGL mode are the same mode >_>

As for your actual problem, that's an issue that falls under SRB2's general "Big areas are borked" category. The game is trying to draw too much at once, and the Software renderer can't keep up. Throw something into that field, just some random non-thing-based scenery.

And another question:

If the level looks fine in OpenGL does it really matter if it doesn't look great in software mode? I've seen a few levels that have similar problems to this but they were never fixed.

Yes, it does. I, along with every other user here who doesn't care for OpenGL, will get on your case. Badly.

And that's Draykon and I'll Begin, to name a few. Not to mention all those newbs who don't know how to get in OpenGL......

And if they were never fixed, does that matter? It is your map, after all.
