King DeDeDe's Drift Deluxe

King DeDeDe's Drift Deluxe 1

Erm custom music? Last custom pack that did that I did not like, so ima skip it until I can get something not editing music out.
What pack are you talking about? The only other pack I know of that does that is the Parappa pack and that only changed the title screen music so you had to go out of your way to hear the changed music

If you ask me, that's not a good reason to not try out a mod.
That being said, I do personally prefer more discrete mods that don't tamper with system files.
Or go into the files YOURSELF with slade and remove the music, boom problem solved
This.

Love the amount of love and care that went into this mod! Quick question, what's the title of the song that plays during the credits roll of Grand Prix? The banner that appears lists The Lacustrine Beat Machine, but that's the base game's credit theme. I've looked through the masterpost and saw a few songs listed, but a cursory search for them on Youtube didn't bring up anything that sounded similar. A link or even title would be greatly appreciated!

Okay, darn, turns out the song I was hearing must have been from another mod and I have no idea which mod it was now X)

Thanks for the reply anyways, at least I know I was barking up the wrong tree.

Is there a way to have the game keep its Sega/Sonic Theming while still having the Characters? It's really cool that it changes a bunch of the aesthetics but after playing for a while all the jingles and items still being Sonic themed with all the Kirby stuff just kinda around in the menus fells kinda off. like it clashes a bit. It's definitely not a serious issue but if the option is there I would like to know.

Ditto with the above post; is there a way to shut that off? It feels incredibly weird for it to totally take over the menu UI with no option to disable that beyond just not having Kirby characters at all.

Just go to the mod's files and just delete the graphics. It worked for me.

I thought that was against the rules? I mean there is currently an "Important Reminder" at the top of the site at all times about edits...

Oh well... its for yourself. Not anyone else
The problem is when you join a server that has this addon and now it's loaded a bunch of changes I didn't ask for. I can appreciate the effort put into the total conversion, but I don't always want it to be loaded on my copy of the game. No servers can host a version of the addon with the music and graphics removed, so it doesn't matter if I personally hack it up because it's not going to be loaded. I mostly stay on core servers these days to avoid mods with changes like this...
