Blitzzo It's Mr. Computer! May 27, 2006 #4 ... C. As in the programming language. That's used to make almost every single commercial game out there.

Blitzzo It's Mr. Computer! May 28, 2006 #9 Yeah, I know that commercial games use C++. It's just that my sentence would sound funny otherwise... I dunno.

SSNTails What part of 'RETIRED' don't you understand? Retired Staff May 28, 2006 #10 Actually, you'll be surprised at how many commercial titles do NOT use C++. C++ is slower than C, so that obviously does not necessarily make it a good choice for games. It's good for writing a wrapper around an interface.

R RyanHedge Member May 28, 2006 #11 Game Cube games are made in a custom assembly from what I herd.... Donno if it's true...
H hotdog003 Member May 28, 2006 #12 SRB2 was made in C? Funny... I thought it was originally made in MMF.
Rob Member May 28, 2006 #13 V_V It was....I know you're joking a bit...You have to be more aware than that. =P
H hotdog003 Member May 28, 2006 #14 Well, technically, it was originally planned to be written in TGF/MMF, but SSNTails decided to rewrite it in C instead.
