jump eating and delay

when ever i press the jump button they eat my inputs and delay it and even i remaped the button it still does that even when i use the key board it still does that

Are you playing online?
If yes it may be caused by latency. This can be reduced by joining a server with a smaller "ping"(or closer to your home).
