Join Game Fail!

I cannot join netgames in SRB2. I just downloaded the game, jumped right into it, went to Join Game (Internet), waited for a while, then it sends me back to the title screen, telling me that i cannot connect to the MasterServer. Discuss.

What is there to discuss? The master server is down. Simple as that. End of story. Thread no longer needed.

The master server occasionally goes down for no reason.

Um, guys, perhaps you should actually check to see if it's down first?

By the way, as of right now, it isn't.

When this topic first came up, the Master Server worked fine too.

Have you changed the Master Server address in SRB2 since you downloaded it?

Does that Trend Micro Security stuff--would that be the problem? And if so, what do I have to deactivate to be able to join netgames?

Remember if you want to HOST there's 2 options:
ADVERTISE or NOT TO ADVERTISE:
NOT TO ADVERTISE and TO ADVERTISE still has the same condition: Port Forwarded.

Try finding any programs or modify your router's Port ( Start and End ) to make the Port Forwarded Correctly to the MS...

right, back to the story:
ADVERTISE ( as you might know ) : If you forward your serv. correctly, it will show your server on the list for everyone to join.

NOT TO ADVERTISE : If your server is forwarded correctly, no one can see you in the JOIN GAME(INTERNET) feature, but can join by putting your IP in JOIN GAME(IP ADDRESS)

To join, you don't have to forward it correctly, but you must have a connection ( well, duh... )
