For some reason I can't join by I.P. I know the I.P. is right, but when the game starts, ith has the startup data, and it says "contacting server" at the bottom, but it just stops there. I need some help.
I.P sucks half the time, you see a server that is on the MS webpage, you type in the address, and nothing happens very often, and I end up having to press esc button to go back. Joining by join game is less frustrating unless it's private netgames or something.
I always (literally) join by IP, and it works after about a little waiting, unless, you can't get into the netgame for some reason. Joining disallowed, WADs you don't have, player limit reached, etc. In that case, the game freezes up.
