Ok. I got Every Single Chaos Emerald. All 7, without cheating. Yet, it says "Prizes not awarded in modified games." WTF? It took me like, a month to get those emeralds! ><

That happens if you use cheats or loaded add-on wad files. So don't do that.

This seems to keep happening around here. Maybe we should stick a reminder into the game that you don't get anything if the game isn't default.

It's simple:
If you have any files added that aren't normally loaded, like Mystic Realm, SASRB2, etc., SRB2 will not save data. Because it has no way to know what the modification is, it assumes that it's altering things that it doesn't want you to be altering, and blocks saving accordingly. It's similar to what happens when you type in GOD or NOCLIP into the console.

And if you type in most cheats, it'll tell you it won't save.

I did it again, with absolutely nothing locked in, and it said no. nothing.

I think it just hates me.

Redownload SRB2, you might have a corrupted file. OR you can reinstall to a new folder.

If you're using a launcher, Lil_dude, then don't.

The launcher will not add files without your permission. At least mine doesn't.

I just use it so I can set it to 640x400 for software, because that's not the resolution I default to.
