My friends said it was awesome, but they're just...friends. I don't really like looking at reviews at gamespot and ign.
But before I get it, I want to know if its good?

Renting it's not a bad idea, though you might not finish the entire game in the allotted time to've got to rent it. Oh, and try out the multiplayer; Deathmatch is very fun. :D

So? You'll be able to tell whether the game is the utter crap the reviewers say it is or not if you rent it. Heck, I'M trying to rent it from work, and I get it free for four days if I do.

Of course, if I don't return it in a timely manner, I've bought the game whether I wanted it or not.

It gets worse, though, if I were at any OTHER GameStop; then it'd be stealing.

It's only a temp job. I'm likely to get fired after the holidays, unless I can land part-time. Still, I want to leave an impression so I have something to put on further applications.

Judging by the reviews from several respectable communities, I think it's safe to say that no, it isn't worth buying.

At the very least, I assume that the best way to sum it up would be "Better than Heroes". As I've said countless times before, I partially enjoyed Heroes, and I'm a Sonic Team whore, so yeah, I'll eventually wind up buying it.

I tried it at my friends house and was incredibly dissapointed. I didn't really want to use the gun, but you're kinda forced to seeing as how the spindash is usless and the homing attack does next to no damage.
The graphics look nice, but that's all it has going for it. :/

Yeah, that doesn't sound like a lot of fun. Combine that with the horrible movement engine they've used in all their 3D games, and you get quite a mess.

A Sonic Adventure-style game? Having nice graphics? Not this generation.

Well, I meant all the 3D Sonic games of this generation, as they all use the same clunky movement engine, the same bad graphics (Even though Heroes improved this some-what), all have bad cameras, and... well, you get the point.

Sounds great, I'm deffentaly greatten this game, It sounds better than sa2b and saDX. As you can tell I'm being sarcastic, but I'm still getten the game anyway.

And the cameras are apparently solid, lacking the MF_NOCLIPTHING flag that SRB2's has so it is able to push things around in the Chao Garden and stuff.

Please define the term "deffentaly greatten" for me.
