Is it Possible to run use Md2's with normal gameplay

Whenever I use or put in Md2, the game runs completely slow..but when I dont have it on its fast, is there a way to use it but have the game at full speed?

It uses alot of space, and don't forget that Open GL is incomplete and may crash your computer.

To answer your question, no.
But these may help your game run at full speed.
Try typeing "GR_filtermode 0."
If that doesn't help lower your resolution.
You may just have a bad graphics card.

Actually, there is one thing you can try. It sounds to me like your processor is struggling to render loads of models. If that's the case, you can probably get it to run much faster by enabling LIMITDRAW, which prevents far-away models from being rendered.
