Is Emerl (and Gizoids in general) one of the first artificial Chaos?

Seeing the shape of his head and his eyes, how his power increases per Chaos Emerald and how he is basically a living weapin can we say that he was made to be based off the god of destruction?

Well, we don't know if the Nocturnus even knew of Chaos before Chaos wiped the Knuckles clan off the face of the planet, and we know the Gizoids were being used on the Knuckles clan during the war leading to Chaos doing so going off what is said in Sonic Chronicles (the primary source of Gizoid lore).

We do know that Chaos was just a mutated Chao as well, not instantly putting him on the Nocturnus radar:

Therefore, it's possible that the two traits are merely just a similar idea that came to the Nocturnus when designing the Gizoids.

Not according to Sonic Chronicles, the Gizoids were created before Chaos devastated the Knuckles Clan In addition to the fact that they do not have the same abilities as Chaos, the only similarities are their eyes, nothing else so I see unlikely that the Nocturnus clan will be based on Chaos for the creation of the Gizoids.

Well thank you two for the answers, I haven't played Chronicles so I wasn't aware of that.

But their design are pretty similar (maybe because both were made during the same era) and it was just a mere coincidence.
