Im having problems with my game pad

okay, i read the tutorial in the manual on how to add a game pad, i went into the console and typed USE_JOYSTICk

then it gave me a list, and sinice i have only 1 it said something like USE_JOYSTICK "0" or something


^thats to not totaly accuarate on what it said, but silmilar

so i then Typed
USE_JOYSTICK 0
and nothing happened, and it didnt work
i tried to configure the conrols under options and it acted as if the game pad hasnt even been plugged in (or recognized)

BTW im using 1.08 (final demo)



PLEASE HELP ME OUT

In just about everything, 0 means no and 1 means yes
Type USE_JOYSTICK 1
