Invalid Im downloading on a laptop why does it say this?

Because you selected an install directory in a drive that doesn't exist. Most likely the fix would be to make the directory in the C: drive instead of wherever else it's set to go.

how to i change the directory? i just put it in the documents folder in my C: drive.
 
When installing 2.2 it asks to select a destination location, click browse and navigate to the folder you want 2.2 to install to, it should look something like this:
setup directory example.PNG

2.2 creates a folder for itself during install so you don't have to make a new folder, just selecting your documents folder or anywhere you want to install it to will be fine.

Also if you have 2.2 already installed on your computer, it skips letting you select a destination location in my experience, so please make sure you don't have 2.2 already on your computer.

i didnt see this menu when installing, and i tried looking through my files when looking for the game but couldn't find it either.
 
Try checking your programs in the control panel and see if 2.2 is there.
