After watching this, I no longer respect Nintendo.
I will love the franchises to death. The company can go fuck itself.
 
The franchises and talented developers who made these games are the only things keeping them afloat—along with an army of casuals and fanboys who don’t know any better. They lost my respect back in 2016 after becoming aggressive with copyright lawsuits, attacking preservation efforts and fan games, and their recently submitted patents only further cement how scummy this company is. They deserve the karma of lawsuits coming back to bite them—along with the financial losses that come with it.

I miss when Nintendo wasn't a money hungry bitch. 500 dollars sounds like a stab in the heart to my moms credit cards and the fact they have the balls to do this shit is insane. Maybe SEGA does what Nintendon't.
 
Honestly, Nintendo should be sued for this. this has been a concept science before Pokemon. sure, they made it a reality, but they're ruining games by doing this. hell, this even affects games like Minecraft because you can summon allies in Minecraft: Dungeons. Shame on Nintendo.

You know what? lets make a studio. let's make games that deliberately go against this lawsuit. then let's sue them back. they'll be too greedy to realize that they're in the wrong. why? because frick Nintendo. they'd rather rule the game industry than put in the work to make a new, actually good game. and another thing? pretty soon they're gonna go after Ring Racers for kart racing. I have a feeling. so we need to fight back. don't let them win.

idk how they would sue ring racers if they made a patent about kart racing. Even tho the game has basically Sonic chars and is a fan game based on Sega characters. (I barely know anything about court shit so it's fine if you correct me) If they make a patent about platforming then we are pretty much grabbing our pitchforks and heading to nintendo.

Well, that just ruined Nintendo for me. Even though I'm looking forward to Mario Tennis Fever and Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, I can't even be bothered to get those games when they come out because of this. But we'll see how things will play out within a few months. Because as it stands right now, the gaming industry will be ruined if someone doesn't do something quick. Hopefully Nintendo themselves realizes this bonanza and fixes it. After they get sued, of course.
 
Guys if Nintendo makes a patent that they own platforming now. We can only do one thing. Grab our pitchforks...
