help im trying to update my srb2 that is on v226 and i can't find patch help
i need help getting new version of srb2

Yeah i tried checking but there's only patches for 228 and i have 226
Then get the full install and overwrite your 2.2.6 files. Your saves and addons should not be affected.

i did what you did and it deleted my save files and my addons and my models

The installer isn't supposed to delete any of your files. I am very sorry this happened and I will be looking into it. Your only option at this point is probably completely uninstalling then reinstalling the game.
