I need a little help with this

I'm new to srb2. I just downloaded it. I downloaded the supersonic add on and then I played the game and typed in ADDFILE SUPERSONIC.WAD and nothing happened! If this is a ametaur question or is so obvious forgive me.

Make sure the wad file is in your SRB2 folder, or else it wont work.

How do you add it to the srb2 folder?

Just find the wad file, and then drag it onto your SRB2 folder. It should go in without a hitch. Once it's in there, start up SRB2, add the file, and you're good to go. If you need more help, check the SRB2 Wiki:

I'm really lost. I accidently added the supersonic addon in the wrong folder and I downloaded it again, I really need help with this.

Where did you install SRB2? :P It's the same folder as srb2win.exe is.

I did that and I tried ADDFILE SUPERSONIC.WAD and it said could not find this wad file. It said the same when I tried the shadow wad.

Rrrgh! You make me mad. OK, you download SRB2. A little box with books on it appears on the desktop. Double click it. Run WinZip. SRB2 will extract to a folder called SRB2 1094. Drag the supersonic WAD in the folder, then delete the box with books. Double-click the folder, double-click srb2win.exe, press ~, the type addfile supersonic.wad. Make sure you spell it right and that you put .wad at the end. Select 1 player, choose Normal, choose Supersonic, then play it. Gee.
